RSP have been using Assessment Centres to determine the ability of potential employees since 1999. It’s not so much a matter of place, but rather a process - of group and individual tasks, interviews, exercises, presentations and more.
For our clients, a candidate with the right qualification or experience alone may not be enough; they want to know how the potential candidates actually perform. This is where RSP steps in with assessment centres.
We can design and customise the assessments to run over a half day through to a full day so as to reflect some of the day-to-day skills a candidate may need in the role.
Our sessions usually commence with a welcome and introduction from RSP and / or the client. We provide information regarding the roles available, the expectations of the candidates and an overview of the day’s activities.
Group activities: We ask the candidates to perform a non-business activity, such as a presentation, sharing information about themselves; or we may divide the group into teams to achieve a team objective.
Role plays: Depending on the position and role types, the candidates will do a series of role plays based on the actual job responsibilities. This allows the client or prospective employer to get an understanding of what the potential candidate would be like in the role should they be successful.
Psychometric tests: We can include tests to determine personality, aptitude, cognitive skills and behaviours depending on the client’s requirements.
Interview: The assessment centre session will conclude with an individual behavioural interview.
This Assessment Centre methodology can be applied to any role type. RSP will customise the assessment centre to reflect the need of the individual client. Our solutions are aligned focused on the complete end-to-end recruitment process.
